Once you purchase a pass which can be obtained at visitor information centres, most hotels and cultural institutes, you’ll find this pass includes admission to a collection of galleries, museums along with discounts to restaurants and other attractions. In Germany, Bonn offers its Bonn Regio Welcome Card. This pass is the cheapest and most comfortable way of getting to know Bonn. The card let’s you hop on and off public transit, and provides free admission to all the big museums with discounts on other attractions. In addition, you can use the airport bus (No. 670) from Cologne/Bonn Airport to Bonn’s main train station. Prices are based on duration of stay and can be purchased as a 24 hour card for 9 Euros, 48 hour card for 14 euros or 72 hour card for 19 Euros. In Dusseldorf, you can also purchase the Dusseldorf Welcome Card at a visitor information centre and most hotels for the same price. The card gives you free admission to the best museums, free public transit along with discounts to other attractions.
