Q&A

By Ilona Kauremszky

Q: When is the best time to visit New Zealand?

A: New Zealand’s weather is at its best from November through March. It’s spring and early fall then in the great big Kiwiland. With the sun out, you’ll get long days that are perfect for outdoor adventure like hiking and biking.

For cheaper rates, June through August is considered off-season since this is New Zealand’s winter season. So, if you wish to avoid crowds and get better discounts travel is recommended through their winter months. Otherwise, you can also avoid the hordes of tourists during New Zealand’s fall (March through May).
